That is what down-voting if for, I agree. Just joined this site and can't seem to get any traction on comments...part of it is the down-voting is so persistent.

EDIT: Why not remove the up and down arrows from the "Comments" page

This is almost by definition: Angels invest in pre-VC companies. VC's invest in companies that gotten past the development stages only funded by angels. Given that many companies backed by angels fail, we have the "27 times" more.

This could also be because the owners have lost wealth elsewhere and needed cash. However, I know few people that "need" $45 million immediately.

Ridiculous: uses the worst possible case of a 6-year loan with no money down at the highest interest rate. Also, used cars have higher maintenance costs. How about the advice: don't live beyond your means and don't get loans that near 9.6%.
